We produce large flowering, cluster flowering, landscaping, and climbing roses of Meilland.
Most of these roses are hybrid tea varieties, which develop only one or a few buds
on the top of their long straight shoots. The buds are pointed due to the elongated central
petals. The fully opened flowers can be about a palm in size. They are characterized by
strong upright growth. They are 60-120cm high. They are good to be planted separately or
in groups relatively big distances from each other. They are also good in repeating. Most
of the cut roses were bred from hybrid tea varieties, so they are relatively good in vase
. On the other hand, there are some
grandifloras and modern, repeating versions of the Old Roses with the quartered look.
The roses belonging to the polyantha and floribunda groups develop several buds on the top of their shoots. The flowers are smaller and more cupped than those of the large flowered ones. They melt into a unified surface when they are fully opened. The plants are characterized by bushy growth, the average height is between 50 and 90 cm. They form a dense hedge fully covered by flowers if planted close to each other. They repeat very well, all over Summer. Very few of them fit to be kept in vase.

These roses are very hardy, resistant to diseases and pests, can bear extreme conditions. Their height varies between 30 and 150 cm, and the range of their colour fit to any kind of garden. These roses offer very nice and simple solutions for creating borders, hedges, or uniform beds if planted en masse. They are also good in mixed flower beds and pots. They are especially recommended for landscapists!

Both groups of the climbing roses can be found between the varieties marked with GPT abbreviation. They are not real vines, so they need support (pergola, flower grid, pyramid fence etc.) and they have to be tied up. They can grow from 1.5 to 4 m high. Their planting distance should be 1-2 m from walls and about 50 cm from pergolas and 20-30 cm from the wooden supports.
